The 7th day of the trip was one of my absolute favorite days because we got to go on a chocolate tour! I got to sample chocolate with all these different toppings. I learned a lot about the history of chocolate, including:

1. Cacao beans used to be used as a currency in Central America

2. Aztec civilizations would often season their chocolate with Chili-I tried it, and it was actually really good!

3.Cacao beans origins have been traced back to Brazil. One theory about how they reached the rest of the Americas is that cattle would eat the beans and poop them out as they traveled across the Americas! :)
